Stand and fight?
Or run screaming into the sunset?
The rats are leaving the sinking ship. As the Practitioners of the Religion of Peace© move in, and gang violence goes up, the Dutch are leaving in droves.
The Dutch “thought that we had to adapt to the immigrants and that we had to give them handouts. We’ve been too lenient; now it’s difficult to turn the tide."
This strikes me as -an admission a creation of defeat, -chickensh*t, -so Un-American, -very disturbing.

Check the photos closely ... a little birdie told me there’s a Purple Fingered Blogger in there somewhere…
Yes, it’s important to spread the “purple revolution” meme so that it is AT LEAST as ubiquitous as the “WAR IS NOT THE ANSWER” bumper stickers.

FYI
It’s raining today. Lots. Mmmmmmmm
Enough Already !
I’m lookin’ for my can ‘o WhoopAss...
As came up in another comment thread, we choose to curtail certain behaviors in return for living in a civilized society. We don’t steal or run red lights, we keep our agreements and pay our debts. In exchange for this self-control, we live where it is pretty dang safe to walk down most streets, and drive down more. We shop and dine and conduct business in a pretty darned nice environment.
Look around wherever you live—there are trees and shop windows, flowers and no running effluvia in the streets. Compared to London c. 1450AD—we live in Heaven.
But day by day, those whom we have employed to oversee those rules we all choose to live by—well, they’re getting a tad too enthusiastic about their work. There are so many laws… There are places where I can get fined $1,000 just for smokin’ a dang cigarette! Not tossing it. Not setting someone on fire with it. Smoking it! Outside!! And I don’t even know where all those places are! How unsafe is that?!?
America has the highest percent of its population in jail of all the industrialized countries. And most of the 3rd world countries. Is that really because Americans are such Bad People? I think not.
Next on the Control Freak Agenda is the Health Police. Burgers, fries, salt?!?! All will become “offenses.” Next come penalties to control those ‘offenses.’
Where/when comes that point when we say, “Enough!”
.
More: Here’s a phrase—Pepsi is cutting out ads to kids,
amid mounting pressure on governments to curb obesity
I was gonna say, “governments don’t cure obesity,” but then Soviet Russia leapt to mind....
By Jove, I think she's got it!

Comments Update
haaaaaaalp ! ! !
Welllll .... I removed the requirement for IP and User Agent info. And still people are **randomly** having trouble commenting here. Frustration ‘R’ Me.
If anyone of deep technical knowledge has any theories, please do ...uh, comment.........
aw, crud.
My email works, tho....
Meanwhile—I’m going back to that damdum “knowledge blog” that “support” keeps referring me to..... EE: you’re on notice.
My apologies.
.
MORE: Here’s a odd little question; If you’ve had trouble commenting, is your browser/User Agent of Mozilla origin? Like FireFox or.....?
I found several Mozilla thingies listed in my Blacklist [which I had thought was off...]. I’ve now deleted them, so if this applies, give it another shot.
What is wrong with this picture?
Pretty myths all in a row...
Sharks preying on the illegals—nothing new there… This story is about a foreman who offered to cash the checks for his crew and ‘put some into a savings account for them.’ uh huh. Or he withheld some cash ‘for tools.’ yeah…
Here’s the bit that stands out for me:
Valdovinos, 53, of Moreno Valley, is accused of taking a percentage of the wages owed to the undocumented workers he hired for prevailing-wage jobs of building public schools.
...[the workers] reported they were earning $120 a day instead of the $30 an hour they were entitled to.
Now, El Presidente keeps telling us that we neeeed the illegals to do the jobs that “Americans won’t do.” Howizzit that Americans won’t take $30/hour jobs?!?
Myth—BUSTED !!

Curioser and Curiouser
anyone see any dots to be connected, here?
Now he’s done with the whole Homeland Security, Color Code, keep us safe from terrorists thing, where has Tom Ridge gone?
AP - Tom Ridge, the former secretary of the Department of Homeland Security and former governor of Pennsylvania, was named to Home Depot Inc.’s board of directors,

Oh, well, that’s nice. Ol’ Tom found himself a good place in business. whatever…
But Wait! There’s more.....
Home Depot®, the world’s largest home improvement retailer, today announced that the company has formed a hiring partnership with four of the country’s leading national Hispanic organizations, The ASPIRA Association, Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU), National Council of La Raza (NCLR), and SER - Jobs for Progress National. The Home Depot will work with these organizations and their strong network of local offices and contacts to help recruit candidates for full-time and part-time positions across the country.
...This marks the first time ASPIRA, HACU, NCLR and SER will work with a corporate partner on a single hiring initiative. The groundbreaking program was made possible through the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility (HACR), one of the most influential advocacy organizations in the nation, representing 13 national Hispanic organizations in the United States and Puerto Rico.
So Tom Ridge, under whose WOT leadership our borders grew more porous, has now joined an outfit who—just recently—has affiliated itself with a group calling itself “The Race.” The same National Council of The Race that also opposes Prop 200 in AZ, the requirement for proof of citizenship for drivers licenses and the giving of preference in hiring on the basis of ...er, Race.
Oh, and in purely unrelated news; in June 2000, Home Depot® acquired the second largest home improvement retailer in Mexico. HD® also has a VP of Diversity and Inclusion. She is also a lawyer [JD UofP]. HD® also has a very diverse program of diverse commitments to diversity. [WTF is a “diversity event”? apparently they don’t even know...]

Terri's Fight Update
Why, yes, this *is* sticking in my craw...
Exactly 15 years ago yesterday, something happened to Terri Shindler-Schiavo, then 26, that caused her to have a heart attack that lead to terrible brain damage. Some reports cite a “chemical imbalance” with no possible medical explanation. Maybe the kind of “imbalance” that comes from being beaten and throttled?
Yesterday, Judge Greer gave Terri’s family and supporters until 2pm on March 18 to find another court, another law, another way to prevent Terri from being murdered. Sick bastard.
``The court is no longer comfortable granting stays simply upon the filing of new motions and petitions since there will always be `new’ issues that can be pled,’’ Greer said in his ruling.
Oh, so you’re not coooofortable. So let’s go ahead and murder a disabled woman so Greer can be coooomfortable... that’s the most important thing—coooomfortable. Hey Greer—is starving to death coooomfortable? Is having someone try to murder your child coooomfortable? Mmm??
Maybe if you had deigned to hear the facts of the case? Old Judgie Judgie… Maybe if you had allowed the family to seek the medical evaluation that Michael “Give me more money for 50 years of care” Schiavo’s suit winnings were to pay for? Maybe if you had allowed the woman, herself, to appear in court? Or even a video? Greer you steer.... Maybe if you had the curiosity of a June bug? Or the ethics of a crack whore? Maybe then you wouldn’t be in this little spot? Where you gotta tough choice; murder a cripple or show yourself to be a hack in a black robe.... Mmmm Life in the ‘sunshine State can Suck, huh, Judgie Wudgie?
Some other questions pop into my mind as I scrubed the floor....
Where are all those Mike Farrell people who sing and wail, candles in hand, at every state sponsored execution of murdering father-rapers and tot-pop eaters? Why aren’t they objecting to the state sponsored execution of this woman who has done no one any wrong?
And how dam dumb is this Jodi Centonze person—living with Michael “Kill my wife, please” Schiavo for *ten years*?!? Yeah—I’d go to sleep around him if I had a nickel in my purse....
And what *is* the dealio with Michael “Burn the evidence, please” Schiavo having a “No Autopsy” and “Cremate Immediately” order—backed by his buddy Judge Greer?!? Nothing suspicious there... Where’s a CSI Miami when ya need one?!? Something to do with those X-rays showing so many broken bones? Where’s the explanation to the court about that? Court’s not interested? Must not be cooooomfortable.
How many times have we read of an elderly husband being jailed for helping his terminally ill wife, in horrible pain, to end her own life?
My on my. Even though the Pope has been rather ...um, busy of late, The Vatican has addressed the case specifically. [...and why, again, have we not heard from Terri’s own parish priest? Or Bishop? or Monsignore? Or ... who *is* it who runs that outfit in this country?] And come to think of it; What are the Baptists saying? and the Methodists? Unitarians? Jews?? Muslims?!? *crickets* ]
I still say Jed Bush is a useless putz if he can’t find the skeletons and call off this Greer ghoul. It’s freakin’ Flah-rah-dah—of course there are skeletons! Check the Board of Directors / Trustees of the hospice to which Terri was so surreptitiously moved. Hospices are for people with less than 6 months to go. Terri’s been there for years.
TerrisFight.org is down. [2.26 9a PST]
In a hospital, if doctors neglect to apply every single extreme life-saving technique—no matter how futile—and there is no patient signed DNR order, how many John Edwards clones rush in to sue the pants of of everyone including the janitor and the lunch room lady? Yet there is no Living Will signed by Terri—What Gives?
Wait… I’m getting a vision… oooo—I think I’m having a Carl Hiaasen moment, here. I’m seeing a dark road. crickets and frogs singing ...deep in a swampy area ...lotsa skeeters ... a car is parked on the shoulder ... cedar trees ... hanging moss… another car pulls up with no lights… men get out ... an envelope changes hands ...
Dang! I lost it…

Comments ReWork
at the behest of the King of the Bon Mot...
I have changed the commenting procedure from membership [which seems to have been half-broken] to that annoying type-in-this-word-to-prove-yer-not-a-spambot thing.
I hope this will encourage more commenting and annoy less those who have had problems with the membership thing not working.
My apologies to everyone—I know this is a PITA, but perhaps less so than having to weed thru all the creepy come see photos of goats in pantyhose spamments. M’kay?
Give it a shot. Comment on this post and tell me how well it works.

UPDATE:
Alrighty, thennnnnn For some it works just fine. Some hate the joining thing—which I really empathize with. Off that goes. And some are still having problems. Since I really enjoy comments, su problema es mi problema.
So: Does your firewall or ??? allow you to send your IP address and User Agent information? EE currently requires it but if it is enough of a problem, I can turn it off. I thought it helped prevent spam, but mebbe it’s not worth it.
And if’n you’re having problems and wanna email me, feel free: MyName AT ThisDomain.com oughta work.
Thanks, y’all. I really do appreciate it.

Backlash?
I think I got whiplash...
First I read as to how we bloggers are niggas rappers... Now, blogging is “a breeding ground for a lot of bad, bad things," simply because “anybody can do it.”
Something tells me the the ‘citizen government’ of 230 years ago wouldn’t go over too well with these folk. “By the people, for the people”—what a dumbass idea. . .
ThanQ!, again, Sanitation Engineer Matt. You’re hot today!
