How Comes this is *not* on the news?
ooo—lookie!!! a nice, shiny hurricaineee!!!
LONDON ...the bombs were made of “high explosives”, not homemade material. ...All three bombs on the London Underground system actually exploded within seconds of each other, at 8.50 in the morning ...more likely the attacks had used timers [set off by cell phones] [ NYC has shut off cell phone service in tunnels and subways. NYPost]
“If they’ve got down to a minute that would be an all-time record.” The use of timers “is not rocket science, but it still shows a level of sophistication which is beyond just sending somebody with an (explosive) belt”, [Michael Oren, of the Shalem Centre think tank in Jerusalem, ] said
An expert in terrorist finances said the London bombings probably only cost between $10 000 and $15 000 to carry out.
“It’s cheap,” said analyst Loretta Napoleoni.
She said the attackers were likely homegrown - British citizens or longtime residents, inspired by al-Qaeda but without any direct connections to Osama bin Laden or his lieutenants.
...They probably raised funds locally, she said, avoiding the risk of attracting authorities’ attention with a bank transfer
Which just shows to go ya—those who become accustomed to the E Z livin’ in the developed world are more likely to use technology and much less likely to suicide. They have more to lose. They actually have something to lose. Unlike the 3rd world, dirt eating types…
Except that the base motivation is to destroy all that technological development and ease of living. Kinda like shooting yourself in the face to get rid of a mosquito.
BTW - dija know that the Brits foiled another attack in Birmingham on Saturday?
MSM: “terrorists? yeahwhatever… lookie here—Big Rain Fall Down—ooooooo Wind Blow! lookie lookie!”
